MNK International launches Turkish arm

Independent Lloyd’s broker MNK International has expanded into Turkey with the acquisition of a local broker, establishing a new office in Istanbul.

As part of the London-headquartered MNK Group, MNK International Türkiye will provide tailored solutions across property, engineering, financial lines and aviation business lines.

The new Turkish operation will be led by Erhan Ergüneş, appointed as chief executive officer of MNK International Türkiye. Ergüneş has 20 years of industry experience with senior roles at major insurers including Allianz, Generali, Helvetia and Chubb.

Ergüneş said: “With MNK’s global reach and our specialised expertise, we’re ready to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions tailored to the unique needs of Turkish businesses operating on the world stage.

“There are huge opportunities within the Turkish market, ranging from construction and engineering to aviation and agriculture. Our focus will be on building long-term partnerships and providing tailored coverage that meets the evolving needs of our clients.”
