Aon appoints Kemp UK head of CRS

Aon has appointed Rob Kemp as head of its Commercial Risk Solutions division for the UK. Effective 1st October, Kemp will report to Jane Kielty, UK CEO at Aon, and Luca Tassa-rotti, head of Commercial Risk Solutions for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Aon.

Having started his career at Willis, Kemp has 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry through senior roles at Marsh and RSA. He joined Aon four years ago and currently leads the EMEA Central Broking team. In his new role, he will be responsible for bringing more of Aon’s Risk Capital capabilities to its clients across the UK.

Jane Kielty, UK CEO at Aon said: “Rob has a wealth of experience and insight in insurance and broking, alongside a strong track record as a leader and motivator, which makes him the ideal person to lead Commercial Risk in the UK to further success. He takes over at an incredibly exciting time to help our team deliver to the greatest effect for our clients.”

Rob Kemp added: “I’m thrilled and incredibly proud to take on this new role leading Aon’s Commercial Risk Solutions in the UK. I’m looking forward to working with Jane, Luca and the UK Commercial Risk Solutions team to develop and deliver new propositions to better help our clients address their increasingly complex business challenges.”

Kemp's appointment is subject to the usual regulatory approvals.
