One Call Now acquires Safeguard

US-based message notification provider, One Call Now has acquired UK-based Safeguard Communications. The combined company delivers a powerful solution set designed to address organisations’ business continuity, emergency notification as well as customer notification messaging needs.

Commenting on the acquisition, One Call Now CEO, Leib Lurie, said: "Both One Call Now and Safeguard are passionate about customer satisfaction, and we look forward to providing our new European clients with the same exceptional product over 55 million Americans already enjoy.

“Safeguard adds strength to our organisation by the fact that they are UK DPA (Data Protection Act) compliant, EU Safe Harbour, plus certified as ISO 9001 and 27001 compliant.”

Safeguard managing director, Russell Pearson, said he is looking forward to the expanded feature-set One Call Now has to offer. “One Call Now’s enhanced customer notification services allow businesses to affordably and flexibly reach thousands or hundreds of thousands of customers with travel and weather updates, appointment reminders, service updates and much more,” Pearson added.
