xMatters appoints new head of business continuity solutions, EMEA

xMatters has appointed Laura Meadows as head of business continuity solutions, EMEA. In this newly created role, Meadows will be responsible for delivery of xMatters’ business continuity planning, sales, solutions development and marketing strategies in the region.

Teon Rosandic, vice-president, EMEA, xMatters, said, “Business continuity is of growing importance as global organisations increasingly recognise the need to mitigate the potential disruption to their business operations, that an unexpected incident can cause. We are delighted to welcome Laura, another expert in the business continuity arena, to xMatters, who will bring considerable insights to our clients, as to how they can best protect themselves in the challenging environments in which they operate.”

Prior to joining xMatters, Meadows worked as business development manager at HTK, where she was primarily responsible for public sector accounts. Previously, she managed key accounts and customers for Vocal’s business continuity solution, and was responsible for assessments of communication requirements during emergencies, delivery of services and ongoing training and client management.
