Due to the continued acquisition of quality accounts, this leading global broking house seeks to add technical fire power to its Corporate Unit through the appointment of a talented Senior Account Handler / Broker.

Here, you will play a key role in the successful management of a portfolio of corporate clients. These accounts generate fees of at least £15K, and potentially up to six figure income. Clients are from a wide variety of industry sectors, such as Retail, Media, Distribution and Technology. Several of these clients may have complex oversees exposures.

You will support Corporate Account Executives and Directors by managing their portfolios throughout their policy lifecycles. This will include liaising with clients, scrutinising their businesses to identify exposure to risks, and negotiating with insurers to ensure these are comprehensively mitigated and priced with competitive premiums. You will produce accurate, informative and compliant documents, prepare mid-term amendments and conduct marketing exercises on behalf of colleagues on the new business team.

It is essential that you have previous experience of dealing with complex corporate business and a sound understating of all common commercial covers such as Property, Liability, Business Interruption and Financial Lines. You must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), a keen eye for detail, and be very professional in your approach.

It is anticipated that you are ACII qualified or have made significant progress towards professional qualifications under the CII. However, we welcome applications from outstanding candidates who have chosen not to pursue these.

In return, you will receive a generous basic salary and comprehensive benefits package, including support towards professional qualifications. In addition, this broker is known for offering an array of opportunities for progression, and previous incumbents have moved into technical, managerial and managerial roles.
