Liberty Specialty Markets has promoted Anabella Frontado to the newly created role of head of war and terrorism, US and LatAm.

Ms Frontado will report to both William Goldberg, chief of staff, LSM US and LatAm and Mike Burle, interim global head of war and terrorism.

With more than 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, working within the UK, US and LatAm markets, Ms Frontado has held a number of roles since joining LSM in 2011, most recently as underwriting officer, war and terror, North America. Prior to that, she was underwriting manager, casualty, Latin America for a decade. Both roles were based in Miami. Prior to joining Liberty she has held a number of liability roles.

Ms Frontado’s promotion is effective immediately and she is based in Miami, US.
