Aviva has restructured its risk management services offering. The new Global Risk Management Solutions team brings together 230 risk consultants from the UK, Ireland and Canada, alongside a network of international partners.
The evolution of the Aviva Risk Management Solutions offering it said reflects the changing needs of commercial lines clients and brokers, who increasingly require "integrated thinking and cross-border risk management support".
The reorganised structure is led by Chris Andrews, director of risk management solutions, UK; Pat Lee, risk management solutions and engineering services leader, Ireland; and John Billis, vice-president and head of Aviva Risk Management Solutions, Canada.
Under the new model, ARMS UK and Ireland will focus on prevention across Europe, while ARMS Canada will oversee service delivery in North America. Other markets will be covered through a mix of in-house specialists and external partners.
Abigail Gainsford, a UK prevention solutions consultant, will work with colleagues in Canada and Ireland to expand the company’s digital capability. A new Global Technical Specialist Network is also being introduced to share expertise on hazards, occupancy and technology risks.
“At Aviva, we’re setting the standard for a resilient tomorrow. By bringing together our global risk management teams and trusted international partners under one integrated practice, we’re unlocking a powerful capability – combining local expertise with internationally recognised loss prevention standards to deliver consistent, innovative and tailored risk solutions,” Andrews said.
“Whether a policy is underwritten in the UK, Ireland, or Canada, this global approach enables us to accelerate our reach, deliver sharper insights and add even greater value for our commercial clients."
