RSA Insurance has bolstered its UK Specialty Lines business with the appointment of two new underwriters.

John Lawrence joins as senior specialist underwriter, property, and Henry Henderson as specialist underwriter for power, engineering and renewable energy. Lawrence is an experienced property underwriter, having worked at various insurers throughout his career, including Axa, AIG and previously at RSA. He re-joins RSA from Allianz, where he has been working since 2018. .

Henderson has previously worked at Brit and HDI Global Specialty, before joining Liberty Specialty Markets, where he worked in the insurer’s power and renewable energy team since January 2022.

UK Specialty Lines is part of Intact’s Global Specialty Lines, which offers integrated global propositions for brokers and customers with more complex international risks. They start their new roles in the coming weeks and will be based in London.
