Arch Insurance Australia launches cyber practice

Arch Insurance Australia has announced the establishment of a new cyber insurance practice, led by Rachel Green (pictured) as national cyber underwriting manager for Australia and the Pacific region.

The cyber practice will offer excess and primary insurance products spanning cyber, IT liability and cyber property, providing comprehensive solutions to brokers and clients in the midmarket and large corporate segments. Ms Green will lead the development of the insurer’s cyber insurance portfolio across Australia and the Pacific region, reporting to Dominic Brannigan, Arch Insurance Australia regional manager.

Ms Green joins the company from Chubb where she was major accounts division segment leader for cyber and technology in Australia. Prior to this, she was client manager, cyber solutions at Aon and has also worked at AXIS Specialty Europe SE, based in London, United Kingdom.

Brannigan commented: “Arch is a recognised global leader in cyber insurance. We are excited to launch our cyber insurance practice and provide our broking partners in Australia and the Pacific region with direct access to cyber insurance specialists. We are also delighted to announce Rachel’s appointment. With her extensive market knowledge and cyber expertise, she is the ideal candidate to lead the development of our cyber practice.”
