BIBA partners with Travelers Europe

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association has announced a partnership with Travelers Europe.

Travelers has operated in Europe for decades through its UK insurance company, its syndicate at Lloyd’s and, more recently, its Ireland-based insurance subsidiary.

Steve White, BIBA CEO, said, “Our broker members value the relationships that we have with our BIBA insurer partners, with whom we work closely on cross-industry issues. We are delighted that Travelers Europe has joined BIBA, and we look forward to working with its team.”

Travelers Insurance Company offers business insurance, bond and specialty insurance, and risk management services. Travelers Syndicate 5000 at Lloyd’s underwrites specialist and complex business classes, including aviation and special risks, energy and property, and marine.

Stephen McKenna, head of distribution for Travelers Europe, added, “We have been working with BIBA and the intermediaries it represents for many years. Formalising our partnership is the natural next step in forging new relationships and developing even closer ties with the brokers who help bring our products and services to our customers.”
