Stanley Security announces new GB MD

Stanley Security has appointed Gboyega Obafemi as general manager and managing director for Great Britain. He will be responsible for accelerating growth in Great Britain and driving Stanley Security’s XaaS product strategy.

Mr Obafemi boasts an impressive career to date with leading companies, including Philips, Siemens, GE, Toshiba-Carrier and Watts Water Technologies in the UK, Europe and Japan, bringing with him significant commercial and operational experience. He joins Stanley from Johnson Controls – Hitachi where he held the role of managing director, UK & Ireland.

Commenting on his new appointment, Mr Obafemi said: “It’s a great honour to have been appointed as managing director for Stanley Security across Great Britain, especially at such an exciting time for the company. 2020 has been a year of change for many; in the security sector this has materialised in the accelerated adoption of cloud-hosted solutions and remote services. Stanley Security is well placed to build on this development, enabling us to provide organisations with safer, healthier and more efficient sites and processes."
