LexisNexis Risk Solutions integrates with Ignite

Ignite Insurance Systems has created a gateway with LexisNexis Informed Quotes platform, giving insurer and broker clients access to a wide range of personal and commercial risk data to support risk decisions at the point of quote. This includes the Lexis Nexis No Claims Discount Module, allowing insurance providers to see their own data in context with the rest of the market, improving the customer experience and delivering more accurate first time quotes.

Environmental data from the Map View geolocation risk visualisation tool is also included in the LexisNexis Informed Quotes platform, alongside more than 42 further data enrichment databases. Insurance providers using Ignite’s Rating Engine can also gain access to data enrichment ‘capstones’ from LexisNexis Risk Solutions in their schemes.

Software house partner manager at LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Graham Tooke said: “Relationships such as this are part of a clear strategy to streamline access to our data and solutions to support right first time insurance quotes across the personal and commercial market. Insurers and brokers who access Informed Quotes via Ignite software will no longer need to call out for data from several different sources, which can delay quote processing and lead to referrals. One access point will help speed up risk decisions, to support new business, renewals and mid-term adjustments. It ultimately means a much more streamlined quotation process for insurance providers and their customers.”
