Climate protesters arrive in the City

Climate change protesters have this morning arrived in the City of London, with disruption expected throughout the day in the areas of Broadgate, Liverpool Street Station, Bank Station, London Bridge and through Poultry to St Paul’s.

Police have warned that there are currently protesters blocking roads around Bank Junction, while others have glued themselves to the Walkie Talkie building in Leadenhall.

The City of London Police are issuing updates via Twitter @MetPoliceEvents

As at 08:00 on Monday 14th October, there had been 1,336 arrests in connection with the ongoing protests across London.
