LMG launches industry recruitment portal

The London Market Group has this week launched its new recruitment hub, offering a single site for insurers, brokers and service providers in the London Market to post jobs and also to connect them with the thousands of students who have previously attended graduate fairs and other similar student events with the LMG.

The site includes a jobs board; information about training and events, including links to online entry-level courses; profiles of some of the 150 London Insurance Life ambassadors: profiling relatable role models who already work in the industry; and information and application forms for the LMG bursary.

Greg Collins, CEO of Miller and chairman of the talent workstream at the LMG commented: “It is critical to attract new talent to our industry as we look to evolve into a digital-first world. This is the latest LMG initiative which brings together all our previous work creating a community of graduates and school leavers. We can now connect this talent pool more closely with industry employers through the new portal. The addition of training resources and events targeting new graduate makes this a complete ‘go-to’ for anyone recruiting or looking for a role in our industry.

“If you are an HR professional looking to build your team out to include non-traditional talent, I encourage you to start to post roles on the website, and to use it as a resource for training your future talent.”
