Assurant launches Business Concierge offering

Assurant has launched a new service to help small and medium businesses manage their back-office operations. Created in partnership with The Co-operative Bank, Business Concierge includes legal assistance and technical support, HR and employment support, and an online portal with key document templates.

Christian Formby, president, Assurant Europe, said: “SMEs thrive when they have the time, space, and support to innovate and grow their business. Through cost-effective legal and technical assistance, Business Concierge frees businesses from back office distractions and enables them to focus on what they do best. Plus, technical assistance and support has seen a significant boost in demand since COVID-19 related restrictions started in early 2020. We are excited to partner with The Co-operative Bank and be part of the already impressive offer that exists for its business clients.”

Catherine Douglas, Managing Director of SME, at The Co-operative Bank said: “With our roots in the co-operative movement - and our values of fairness, equality and social responsibility - we've always prioritised the needs of SMEs, charities and community businesses. We are delighted to announce that we are now adding a new range of services for our small business customers through Business Concierge. Assurant is a trusted partner with heritage in providing this range of back office functions. Now, business owners can get on with doing what they do and know best and have the confidence that legal and technical support is just a call away when they need it most.”
