Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Allen Kwan as head of customer management, North America and Daniel Combes as head of distribution management North America.
In these newly-created roles, Mr Kwan will be responsible for the strategic relationship with corporate customers in the US and Canada and oversee a team of specialised account managers; and Mr Combes will be responsible for the strategic relationship with commercial insurance brokers in North America.

Mr. Kwan has 17 years of insurance experience. He joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2012 and is currently head of sales, US West Region. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Saint Mary's College in Moraga, California and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University East Bay in Hayward, California. He is a Board Member of both the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation and RIMS Golden Gate Chapter.

Mr Combes has 21 years of insurance experience. He joined Swiss Re Corporate Solutions in 2012 and is currently head of sales, US East Region. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He speaks Spanish and has worked in Barcelona, London, New York and Zurich. Mr Combes is a Board Member of the Northeast Chapter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.
