Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty has launched a new cyber product in the UK providing third party and first party cover for businesses suffering from a data breach or cyber security incident.
The new policy also encompasses coverage for costs typically associated with a cyber-incident and provides access to AGCS expert partners in IT forensics, cyber extortion, business interruption forensic accounting and breach coach legal services.
The move follows the recent expansion of AGCS' cyber team with the appointment of Michela Moro as senior cyber underwriter. The full team includes Rehan Hussain, regional head of Cyber; Yogi Virji, underwriting manager for Cyber RUL and global cyber underwriter; Daniel Lander, senior cyber underwriter; and Lewis Bennett, cyber underwriter.
