CFC appoints Groeber as EVP

Specialist insurer, CFC Underwriting, has appointed Shannon Groeber to the newly created role of executive vice-president.

Working from CFC’s office in New York, Groeber will be responsible for leading the business’s strategy for its admitted cyber proposition. She joins the team from Marsh JLT Specialty where she was cyber innovation leader.

Her career includes five years at JLT Specialty as cyber and E&O practice leader.

"Shannon is a hugely respected and influential figure in the cyber insurance market, and I’m delighted that she has joined us to drive the development of our admitted cyber product in the US," commented CFC CEO, Dave Walsh. "Our global cyber practice has been at the heart of CFC for the past twenty years and we’re proud to be considered as one of the leading underwriters of this class.
