The IRM has a new global ambassador for the US, focusing on the East Coast. Linda Conrad, SIRM is principal, corporate and information security risk management at Exelon Corporation. She was previously the director of strategic business risk at Zurich Insurance.
Conrad holds a technical specialist designation from the IRM, and has served on its education advisory board. She was a deputy member of the ERM committee of RIMS, served on the supply chain risk leadership council, and was chairwoman of the Asian Risk Management Conference. She also worked on the World Economic Forum Global Risks Report.
She also chaired a project to deliver a ground-breaking cyber security portal with the US National Institute of Standards and Technology and the University of Maryland, where she is an adjunct professor at RH Smith School of Business.
Conrad also taught at the University of Delaware Captive programme and on the Masters on Supply Chain Management programme at University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where she also served on the Corporate Advisory Council. She studied at Dickinson College, the Graduate Institute
