DWF announces new claims and risk division

DWF has launched 15squared, a new venture focusing solely on developing technology-driven solutions aimed at driving efficiency and mitigating risk. The new venture has been developed from Claimbase, a company acquired through the firm’s merger with Fishburns and which was named after its sole product offering, a cloud-based software platform for large insurers with volume claims.

As well as the Claimbase solution, 15squared is launching a range of new products. These include DWF Pinpoint, a software application that provides a secure online repository for documents and data, and DWF Notify, an incident notification app that provides an instant and secure way to communicate alerts.

15squared will be led by DWF’s chief technology officer Richard Hodkinson, who will serve as its chairman.

“15squared has been launched in direct response to changes in client demand, which is for more tailored, technology-driven services that help them do business,” Hodkinson said. “The launch of 15squared as an independent entity allows us to focus on identifying market needs and bringing these services to DWF’s clients and the wider market with greater efficiency and value than ever before.”
