Amlin appoints head of sustainability and ESG

MS Amlin Underwriting has appointed Amir Sethu to the newly created role of head of sustainability and ESG.

Mr Sethu will be responsible for both the continued development and implementation of MS AUL’s ESG strategy, as the business brings together a diverse range of ongoing and new initiatives operating under a comprehensive ESG framework.

He brings more than two decades of industry experience to the role, with deep subject matter expertise in sustainability and ESG. He joins from Lendurance, a boutique ESG-focused commercial lender he co-founded in Singapore before exiting the business earlier this year. Prior to this, Mr Sethu spent seven years as a director at KPMG, advising a broad spectrum of commercial firms on ESG and broader stra-tegic change initiatives. He also spent eight years as group head of internal audit at Brit.

Mr Sethu takes up the role in December and will report directly to Martyn Rodden, director of strategy and transformation.
