Miller bolsters onshore energy team

Specialist re/insurance broker, Miller, has announced four appointments to its onshore energy practice, including Adam Barber-Murray, who will lead the team.

Mr Barber-Murray joins from WTW, where he spent more than a decade, latterly as head of downstream natural resources broking. Prior to that, he was an onshore energy broker at Aon. In his new role as Miller’s head of onshore, he will focus on midstream and downstream oil and gas, petrochemicals, power and renewables risks.

He is joined by Daniel Fraser, also from WTW, where he was deputy head of onshore. He has over 30 years’ experience in the strategy, design and placement of downstream oil and gas programmes across the London and international markets, including senior roles at Aon, Gallagher and London broker Alesco.

Also from WTW, where he was a senior associate in the natural resources team, Conor Boughey joins as broker/account executive. He has over ten years’ industry experience, including tenures as a property and casualty underwriter at Axa and a technical claims consultant at LV=.

Finally, Grace Harbottle also makes the move from WTW to Miller. She will be an account executive responsible for supporting Miller’s client delivery, drawing on experience across a range of sectors, including power, mining, metals and downstream oil and gas.
