Cowbell is rolling out a new AI-enabled system to support its insurance operations.
Omni is being deployed across the insurer's underwriting, claims, cyber security services, customer engagement and product development teams.
Built on the Cowbell Platform, Omni combines AI-assisted decision-making, workflow automation and governance tools to help teams assess risks and manage insurance processes.
The first major application focuses on excess and surplus insurance for SMEs.
Specialised AI agents will work alongside human underwriters to analyse submissions, assess risks and generate coverage and pricing recommendations. Human underwriters retain final decision authority.
“Specialty lines are increasingly defined by bifurcation,” said Jack Kudale, CEO of Cowbell. “The market remains highly risk-segmented, requiring more granular underwriting as pricing pressure intensifies and loss costs, litigation and volatility remain elevated.
"Omni simplifies complex underwriting, makes digital risks more manageable, and enables brokers, policyholders and insurance professionals to make faster, more informed decisions. As we expand Omni across claims, cyber resilience and product innovation, we are building an intelligence foundation that will continuously improve how specialty insurance is delivered.”
