Targa Telematics has agreed a partnership with Hyundai Connected Mobility GmbH to integrate data from Hyundai vehicles into its platform for fleet operators across Europe.
The partnership covers multiple vehicle generations, allowing mixed fleets to be managed without additional hardware. Data including location, mileage, vehicle status, fuel or battery levels and diagnostic information will feed directly into Targa Telematics’ systems.
The integration will support maintenance, claims handling, fraud detection and vehicle tracking. It will also enable monitoring of electric vehicle performance, including battery charge, range and energy use.
Marcus Welz, chief executive of Hyundai Connected Mobility, said: "At Hyundai Connected Mobility, we're committed to helping our customers unlock greater value from connected vehicle data through trusted partnerships and open collaboration. By working with Targa Telematics, we're making it easier for fleet operators to access native vehicle data and turn it into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, support the transition to electric mobility, and simplify the management of connected fleets across Europe."
Alberto Falcione, vice-president of sales at Targa Telematics, added: "The partnership with Hyundai Connected Mobility GmbH represents another step forward in our multi-OEM integration strategy. It strengthens Targa Telematics' role as a data integration partner for leading automotive manufacturers, enabling customers to manage multi-brand fleets, including electrified fleets, consistently through a single digital ecosystem.
"Our objective is to simplify the integration and harmonisation of data streams, making them easily accessible through Targa Telematics' digital platforms while ensuring rapid deployment and the highest operational efficiency.”
