Synectics has announced that its Synergy security and surveillance platform has been awarded Cyber Assurance of Physical Security Systems certification from the UK National Protective Security Authority.
The certification is designed to verify a platform’s cyber resilience, to support its use across designated critical national infrastructure. Certification also means the product is included in the Catalogue of Security Equipment, which is used by public sector procurement teams.
Amanda Larnder, chief executive at Synectics, said: "Cyber resilience is now inseparable from physical security. Organisations increasingly expect security platforms to deliver operational performance and independently verified cyber resilience."
The Synergy platform includes access controls, encryption, authentication and audit logging to support secure deployment and ongoing monitoring.
