Domart to succeed De Macedo at Covéa

Covéa Insurance has named Philippe Domart as its new chief executive officer, subject to regulatory approval. He will take over from Georges De Macedo on 1 April 2026.

Domart has more than twenty years’ experience in global insurance and reinsurance, including senior roles at Partner Re and within the commercial business unit at MMA in France.

He will relocate to the UK to work more closely with Covéa’s teams and partners.

Chris Moat, chairman of Covéa Insurance UK, said: “On behalf of the board I'd like to thank Georges for his major contribution to Covéa Insurance over the last couple of years. His ongoing involvement in the Covéa UK board will provide both insight and continuity into the future.

“I would also like to welcome Philippe Domart to Covéa UK. His extensive knowledge of insurance and reinsurance will provide a great foundation to lead the company through its next phase.”
