WBN announces leadership changes

Worldwide Broker Network has appointed Gurpal Dhingra, joint managing director of Prudent Insurance, as chairman of its board. Additionally, Benjamin Verlingue, chairman and CEO of Adelaide, joins as treasurer.

The leadership changes follow WBN’s board rotation plan. Scott Davis, president of National Specialties at EPIC, joins the executive committee for North America, while outgoing chairman Brian Hetherington moves into an ex officio role.

“We are delighted to elevate Gurpal to the chairman role,” said Olga Collins, CEO of WBN. “His global perspective, deep industry experience, and collaborative approach will be invaluable as we grow our network solutions, expand into new markets, and continue delivering exceptional value for our members and their clients worldwide.”

In addition, WBN has welcomed new broker members Alpha Insurance Brokers in Cambodia, EXL representing Greece and Cyprus, Starseg Corredores de Seguros in Paraguay, and Nordic Broker NB Oy in Finland. Long-time member Associated Alliance has expanded its membership to include Lebanon, Jordan and Oman.
