Addept Insurance has broadened its legal expenses portfolio with a commercial legal protection solution aimed at helping small firms manage rising compliance pressures linked to changing employment rights.
Enterprise Legal Club gives micro and small and medium-sized businesses access to legal protection insurance and specialist commercial and employment law support intended to help them navigate new workplace rules.
The offer includes a Legal Assistance Hub with interactive documents, guidance and information on common business issues, along with specialist advice from Lyons Davidson Solicitors.
Richard Finan, managing director of Addept Insurance, said: “The new Employment Rights Bill will bring in significant changes to employment law that will provide greater protection for workers that will impact all sizes of business. But smaller employers may be more exposed to higher compliance and operating costs as a result.
“Enterprise Legal Club is not an off-the-shelf solution. A ‘one-size fits all’ commercial product does not respond to the specific needs of many smaller businesses. By focusing on addressing the gaps that currently exist in products for this important market we are ensuring they have access to the right level of protection and the relevant information customers need to support their commercial needs.”
