Mission backs launch of tech-driven MGA

Mission is set to expand its UK presence with Kovrilo, a tech-enabled MGA centred on a modular underwriting platform that allows brokers to adapt products to the specific needs of SME clients.

Kovrilo will be led by Tim Smith and Sonia Habib, both from Jensten Group. Smith spent six years as underwriting and product director following earlier roles at Policyfast and Aviva; while Habib previously served as head of product development after more than a decade with the group.

Ross Dingwall, CEO of Mission, said: “Tim and Sonia exemplify the sort of people Mission is designed to support – a strong network of connections, a sharp understanding of what the market needs and a healthy desire to succeed. Mission is in an exciting period of growth with Kovrilo marking our second launch of 2025."

Kovrilo will be Mission’s ninth UK MGA and is expected to go live in early 2026.
