McLarens appoints Bhamani as new global CIO

Claims services provider McLarens has appointed Shoukat Ali Bhamani to the newly created role of global CIO. He will join the company’s global management team and report directly to CEO, Gary Brown.

Bhamani will be responsible for defining and delivering McLarens’ IT strategy, overseeing the global IT organisation, focusing on strengthening ERP systems, enhancing data infrastructure, and advancing the company’s analytics capabilities. A key priority will be driving operational resilience and supporting the delivery of superior client outcomes through technology and data solutions.

Bringing over 20 years of international experience in digital transformation and enterprise technology leadership, Bhamani has previously overseen complex, multi-region IT functions at organisations such as Luk, Schaeffler, and Serta Simmons Bedding, with a focus on ERP modernisation, process optimisation, business integration, and advancements in AI and analytics.

He holds an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, an MSME from McGill University, and a BSME from NED University. He has been honoured with the CIO of the Year ORBiE Award.
