Thomas Miller establishes UK construction business

Thomas Miller Specialty has established a new construction business. Thomas Miller Specialty Construction will deliver latent defect offerings for mixed use and tenure developments within the UK.

The new division, TMSC, will operate on a broker distribution model. Technical services to support underwriters with risk management and consultancy will continue to be provided through an in-house Risk Solutions company.

Danielle Champion, CEO Thomas Miller Specialty, says: “I am delighted to announce the launch of Thomas Miller Specialty Construction. TMSC has been created to focus on mixed use and tenure developments and will draw on a wealth of experience as well as strong broker and client relationships built up over more than two decades.”

The insurer already writes business across marine P&I, offshore marine and energy and ATE.
