Hiscox has appointed Isha Patel as head of direct commercial, Hiscox UK.
Ms Patel joined Hiscox in 2013, since which time she has held various roles in operations, finance and sales. In 2018, she was appointed regional manager for Colchester before being promoted to area director for the South in 2020.
In her new role, Ms Patel will lead a team spanning operations, marketing and underwriting.
She will be based in York and will report to Ross Dingwall, Hiscox UK’s distribution director.
