GreenKite Associates has announced the appointment of Michael Faber as senior consultant, crisis management and operational resilience.
Mr Faber has more than 30 years’ experience in the fields of business continuity and risk management, and was most recently employed by TP ICAP, the world's largest voice inter-dealer broker, where he was global head of business continuity management.
In his new role, Mr Faber will be responsible for helping clients ensure they have resiliency built into the heart of their business operations.
“Having developed crisis teams and managed incidents at a global level, I have experienced many where there is a ‘layering’ effect creating potentially the perfect storm,” he said. “I have found that planning (less so plans) and exercising are key to successful operational resilience and I am really looking forward to helping GreenKite clients in this evolving journey, including sharing my infectious enthusiasm for the subject,”

Mr Faber is a former director and vice-chairman of the Institute of Operational Risk, and a former CIR Awards judge.
