Enterprises in hybrid cloud shift

Technology disruption, coupled with businesses expecting higher returns on investment, has generated demand for cloud infrastructure, with hybrid cloud still considered the ideal IT model for enterprises, and in the UK in particular, according to the second Enterprise Cloud Index Report by Nutanix.

The survey, involving 2,650 IT decision-makers in 24 countries, revealed that 24% of the use hybrid cloud solutions, compared with the global average of 13%.

Additionally, the report found the vast majority of retailers (87.5%) identified hybrid cloud as the ideal IT operating model, and it showed many retailers (72%) are planning to move some public cloud applications back on premise.
