DAC Beachcroft to advise Network Rail

DAC Beachcroft has been appointed to act for Network Rail to handle public and employer’s liability claims.

The owner and infrastructure manager for most of the UK's railway networks has appointed the law firm on a sole supplier basis, for three years.

DAC Beachcroft partner, John Goodman, who heads the firm’s public sector liability team and led the tender, commented: "We are absolutely delighted to be appointed as sole supplier for Network Rail, to handle all its liability claims. Network Rail will be a key client for our highly regarded national public sector liability team.

“This win is a testament to great teamwork across the firm and our unique proposition of very strong public sector liability expertise combined with unrivalled data analytics."

Craig Dickson, CEO of DAC Beachcroft’s Claims Solutions Group, added: “This is a very significant appointment for our Claims Solutions business. We have the industry knowledge, claims expertise and legal skills to provide Network Rail with an excellent service.”

Top-ranked in the major legal directories, DAC Beachcroft has the largest defendant public sector liability team in the UK.

The group was in June further boosted by four public sector liability specialist appointments.
