Airmic to host three-day virtual 'festival' for members

Airmic is to host a three-day virtual festival, designed to provide members with a combination of webinars, sessions, high-profile speakers, panel debates, networking opportunities and a 'festival floor' of exhibitors.

Free to all Airmic members, it is hoped that this new online event will help fill the void left in the wake of so many COVID-related cancellations.

“We are all incredibly excited about Airmic Fest,” said CEO of the association, John Ludlow. “These are really challenging times for the risk community and the UK generally, so we wanted to do something bold, new and positive.

“One of the welcome consequences of the pandemic crisis has been our members’ fantastic adoption of virtual networking and learning. We have seen record online attendance of events and – even more importantly – we have reached new audiences around the UK and beyond. Airmic Fest is the opportunity to consolidate this progress.”

Taking place over 22–24 September, Airmic Fest will adopt the association’s theme for 2020: 'Working Together'.
