Twin hire at Gallagher Heath underpins expansion plans

Gallagher Heath has recruited Alan Sanderson and Peter Cooper to drive forward its expansion plans within UK schemes and affinities, having set its sights on doubling the division’s revenues to $100m by 2015.

Alan Sanderson has joined as corporate partnerships director, and will be responsible for development and profitable growth in this area. He previously worked at Brightside Group, where he was director of partnerships, prior to which he spent nine years at Aviva.

Peter Cooper meanwhile comes on board as Operations Director, having also joined from Brightside where he fulfilled a similar role.

Des O’Connor, managing director of GHIS, part of Arthur J Gallagher International, said: “We are delighted to have attracted two individuals of the calibre and experience of Alan and Peter to help us execute our ambitious growth plans within the UK schemes and affinities market.

“Our mission is to build a platform of sustainable, profitable growth underpinned by operational excellence – with a view to doubling the division’s revenues to $100m by 2015, while achieving a minimum profit margin of 20%.

“Alan’s extensive experience in the corporate partnerships sector will enable us to maximise the potential of our existing distribution opportunities, while helping us secure new affinity business. Combining Alan’s expertise with Peter’s track record in strategic planning and implementation, alongside change management, will play an important part in making our expansions plans a reality.”
