Claydon picks up QBE claims role

QBE has appointed Donna Claydon to the role of head of UK casualty claims. Prior to joining QBE, Donna spent 15 years with AXA where she held a variety of roles from claims unit manager to liability claims operations manager, and was ultimately appointed head of travel, creditor and lifestyle claims in 2010.

Andrew McBride, claims director, QBE European Operations, said, “We are delighted that Donna has joined QBE. Her extensive experience and track record will help us to develop further our excellent claims management capability. This is an exciting time for the development of our claims service at QBE and I look forward to working with Donna to support the evolving needs of our customers”

Craig Bennett, head of UK & Ireland, casualty adds “Donna is an excellent addition to our strong UK team and her appointment will help reinforce our position as market leaders offering exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to client needs.”

Claydon joined the firm earlier this month and reports directly to Andrew McBride.
