Arc Legal Assistance has launched the first iPhone claims app for legal expenses policies. The Arc Legal Claims App is being launched across Arc Legal’s complete portfolio including large scale contracts for clients, including Heath Lambert, which assisted in the development of the app, and key niche business sectors.

Commenting on the launch of its iPhone app, Arc Legal director, Richard Finan said: “Providing customers with the ability to submit claims via mobile media ensures we are delivering more choice and control over how they make a claim. The development of the Arc Legal iPhone App is further evidence of our commitment to taking a lead in the innovation and delivery of products and services in the market.”

Paul Smith, managing director of Heath Lambert Insurance Services, said: “We endorse Arc Legal’s new development as we believe the use of app technology is the way forward for our customer. Apps are a simple way to improve the overall customer journey and we believe in the future, the claims process will be enhanced by this technology.”

Customers will be directed to the Claims App via the 24hr legal helpline after they have received advice and assistance around their legal problem. The App is downloadable from the iPhone App Store at: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/arc-legal-assistance-claims/id421388700?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D2

Claimants can complete and submit a claim form using the App including uploading photos. The claim forms submitted using the app will be received directly by Arc Legal’s claims handling team,

Arc Legal also have plans to develop its existing online claim function to include an online information centre.
