Public Sector Continuity Manager of the Year
This award is for the individual judged to have demonstrated exceptional achievement in enhancing the business resilience of a public sector organisation and/or by championing business continuity in the local businesses community to improve preparedness. The individual should be fully employed in continuity management, and will be judged on their experience and understanding of business continuity issues, their professional influence and evidence of the development or application of good business continuity practice. Among the qualities which will score highly are: innovation within business continuity management, evidence of the promotion of business continuity management in the community (building on the tenets contained within the Civil Contingencies Act) and the ability to overcome organisational constraints to achieve goals.
